Linda, aka “minnemom,” began writing Travels with Children in 2007 as a tool for parents who wanted to take their children to new and different places without traveling too far from home.  Most of the content of the blog focuses on Minnesota destinations, although other destinations are profiled through minnemom’s family vacations and through guest posts.  Frugal travel, roadside attractions, and places off the beaten path are favorite topics of the site.

While reviews and giveaways are not the focus of this blog, exceptions may be made for highly relevant products on a case-by-case basis.
