Tomorrow morning, I’ll be boarding a plane headed for Orlando, but I’m not going to see a famous mouse this time. I was invited to the media preview and grand opening of the new Legoland Florida theme park in Winter Haven, and by the end of the weekend I’ll be able to tell you all about it.
Our family is planning to visit the California Legoland this winter, so I’m even more excited to preview the Florida version for my kids and to be able to compare the two in a few months.
While I’m in Florida, I’ll be seeing some resort hotels that are “Bed and Brick” Legoland hotel partners, catching up with friends, and spending time in the new park. I’m looking forward to seeing the Legoland waterski show, the Miniland Lego creations, and trying to be brave enough to ride the roller coasters that are designed for kids ages 2-12.
If there are specifics you want me to check out, please leave a comment and I’ll see what I can do. Otherwise, watch for updates from the weekend right here and on my Facebook page and Twitter account as I spend some time in sunny Florida.
Legoland Florida paid for my expenses to visit Florida for the grand opening of Legoland Florida. I chose what to write and how to share the experience with my readers.
