Fun in the Cities: Visit the Nina and the Pinta in Hudson, WI

Nina Replica

Replicas of two of Christopher Columbus’ ships, the Nina and the Pinta, will be at Hudson Docks in Hudson, Wisconsin, from August 6-16.  This “sailing museum” offers walk-on, self-guided, tours, with no reservations necessary.  The ships will be open from 9-6 daily.  Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for students, with ages 4 and under free.

If you can’t make it to Hudson, the ships are in Winona, MN, through August 1, then in Lake City, MN, on August 3-4.  After the Hudson stop, they’ll continue on and visit Iowa, Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi by the end of 2010.

For more information on the ships, see The Nina website.  For maps and parking information, see the Hudson, Wisconsin, website.
