Travels with Children Exclusive: BOGO at The Works

Our family has been to The Works, a hands-on science museum in Edina, Minnesota, several times, and it has become a family favorite.  My six-year-old daughter, in fact, claims that it is her favorite place, even topping her best friend’s house.  Some of the things that I like best about The Works are its completely hands-on environment, lack of crowds, family-friendly setup, and affordable admission charge of just $5 per person, with 2 and under free.

The Works noticed that I’m a fan of their museum, and they offered to do a special promotion exclusively for readers of Travels with Children.  During the month of May, my readers can download and print a BOGO coupon, which offers a free child’s admission with the purchase of an adult’s admission.  If you’ve thought of going to The Works, but just haven’t made it there yet, now’s the perfect time to try it.

Get your coupon here–click on the link to open the coupon (in Adobe Reader), print it, and take it with you on a May visit to The Works!  Travels with Children Coupon for The Works

(If you have questions about using the coupon, please contact The Works at 952-848-4848.  For hours and location, visit The Works website.  You can also keep up with The Works on Facebook.)

If you’re curious about The Works, these are some things I’ve written about it in the past.

Enjoy the coupon, and if you go, let me know what you think of The Works!

Disclosure: This promotion is sponsored by the Works.  My family also received free passes for a visit to the museum.

While you’re at The Works, you certainly won’t have any time for playing on your electronic toys, but if you’re ever looking for iPhone apps for kids, jump over to Best Kid Apps, where they’re giving away an iPad and I’m trying desperately to be the winner!
