No Place Like Home
One of the things we like best about traveling is seeing things that are different from what we see every day. Walking on a beach in January, driving through a mountain pass, craning our necks at skyscrapers–these are all special occasions for us.
What is interesting, though, is that all of the places we visit are home for someone else.
Today, then, I present what might be unusual, interesting, or just plain different from what a person living in another state or country might normally see. The view from my windows is one of my favorite parts about where I live. Today, I share it with you.
Days like this make braving the cold completely worthwhile.
What is the view out your window? Please share a link in the comments.

I can see why you love it! I wish we had nice snow coverage like we have right now, but most of the winter, it’s brown here.

All that snow looks beautiful!
I love where I am — Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden — anytime of year. But I’d like to invite you to come visit in spring and early summer for A Million Blooms. How about it?

I had the same lovely morning image! Who needs Frosted Flakes when we have frosted trees? I thought about taking some pictures on the way to work, but was already running late. Of course by my lunch break most of the flakes had, well, flaked off! I’m glad you captured so many lovely photos. I love wintery pics, especially from our area.

Wow that is beautiful. The view outside my window is nothing to write home about but if you go to the of my driveway you can see a creekside trail in one direction and hills in the other. Not too bad.
