Photo Friday: McDonald’s Delivers

I’ll admit that we’ve eaten at a lot of McDonald’s since we’ve had kids.  Say what you may about its quality or healthfulness, with a carload of little kids, it’s fast, easy, and comfortable.

The McDonald’s in Dickinson, North Dakota, may be tops when it comes to providing service, however.  It’s the first McDonald’s I’ve seen that actually delivers.

That’s right, if you pull up to the gas station in the next lot, you can stop at Pump #2 and place and pay for your McDonald’s order.

By the time you’re done filling up with gas, your food will be delivered to your door.  Your car door, that is.

I don’t know why, but this really cracks me up. Seems perfect for the times when I have one (or more) child asleep in the car.

That’s pretty much a perfect travel stop, when you’re really, really in a hurry!

I’ve seen motorscooters used to deliver Mac Donalds in Korea, but this one is good business. Fuel up the car and the body at the same time.

Pretty sweet. Really helps all those hamburger calories stick because we don’t have to make any unnecessary movements. LOL

That’s handy. Kinda funny, but pretty handy.

The more convenience for traveling families – the better! Makes me think of a 50′s style burger joint where the waitresses rollerskated up to your window to take your order. Fun post.

This is a new one on me, but it makes a lot of sense if you’re on the road I guess :)
