Sad news: The railroad felt that the old elevators were a safety hazard and needed to be destroyed. They were demolished last week. It was a sad day for Almont and New Salem residents as those elevators stood as a sentinel on the railroad for so many years.

Old farm buildings are neat to shoot. I can spend hours shooting one barn or old farmhouse.
