Farm Kids’ Fun
Do you remember how excited our kids were when we drove around the back of the barn? It’s a small thing, but it was fun for the kids and something city kids don’t get to do very often, if ever.
If circling the barn made my kids happy, can you imagine their delight when this happened just outside our front door? (And no, it wasn’t really that cloudy; someone small had gotten her sticky fingers on my Flip camera so it’s a little smudgy. Sorry about that.)
I’m a day late, but I’m going to link this up for DeliciousBaby‘s Photo Friday anyway as another example of the joys of truly finding something in your backyard to enjoy. Hope you enjoy it!

So cool. What was the plane doing?
Sooooo cool. Our annual air show was last weekend, so it feels like we lead parallel lives for a moment
Carolina, it was spraying the soybean field for aphids and spider mites. Spraying earlier in the season is done by truck or tractor, but when the beans are this big, it would damage them too much to drive through the field so airplanes or helicopters are used.
Nothing this exciting happens in my backyard!
