		<description>Ah, yes, the mosquitoes.  I think that would be true of any Minnesota State Park except Whitewater.  We were fortunate, however; with the past few dry years, mosquitoes weren&#039;t an issue last year when we camped at Lake Shetek (nor were they a problem at our rural home the last 4 years).  They&#039;ve returned with a vengeance now, though!</description>

		<description>We camped at Lake Shetek.  Once!  It is a perfectly nice park and camping ground.  But it was SOOOO thick and over-run with MN mosquitoes we could hardly even get out of the tent.  We slept there the one night, and then just had to move on.  Walnut Grove, Plum Creek, and Pipestone were close and made very good places to visit.  Mosquitoes and MN summers just go together.</description>
