Let’s Go Bowling – For Free!
One of our kids’ favorite things to do is to ask to go to our local bowling center. A bowling alley is something that is still found in many small towns, and it’s good family fun. This winter, we even took my husband’s parents, who hadn’t bowled since their league days 20 years ago. It was fun to see how bowling is fun for all ages.
Although our first trip to the bowling alley ended up with stitches in a three-year-old’s chin, we haven’t let it stop us. Usually we save bowling outings for the winter when there aren’t as many options for other family fun. We like the bowling alleys even now that they are smoke-free in Minnesota.
This summer, however, I may have to rethink that. KidsBowlFree.com has a free bowling program, where kids can bowl two free games every day, all summer long. Choose your local participating center, sign up your kids, and your coupons arrive by e-mail weekly during the summer. They have special pricing for the adults who accompany the kids as well.
Have you taken your kids bowling yet? If not, here’s the chance to give it a try. Let’s go bowling!

They passed out those coupons at my son’s school and we went on a bowling expedition with three of his friends last week. I was delighted to discover that it was also dollar day, which meant my younger son cost only a dollar and I could purchase popcorn, pretzels, and fruit punch for cheap. It was a great summer outing.

Thanks for this! My son has been bugging me to take him bowling, but we’re on a tight budget, so this is perfect. I signed both kids up and will take them bowling next week!
