Finding More Fun: Carnival of Family Travel, 04/29/2009
Here’s this week’s list of my favorite family travel posts. Some were submitted through the Carnival of Family Travel, and some I pulled from blogs I read regularly.
I admit that my motivation is partly selfish for these posts; this is my way of bookmarking sites I’d like to visit someday, and by using the post tags, I can quickly pull up a list of family-friendly places to visit in a particular state or city. I hope readers find it useful as well.
My favorite this week is the baby eagle camera. My kids are getting tired of hearing the eagle sounds!
Have a great weekend! Do you have any fun planned?

Thank you for the link. I admit that I use your blog for my bookmark as well.
I check your blog regularly and read your archive whenever I plan a trip. Thank you for such a wonderful posts you have done.
Also, I start blogging for the same reason you did this post. As a way for me to bookmark great site/info whenever I plan a trip.
Hi Linda -
How can we submit for future Carnivals of Family Travel?
Kara
Kara’s last blog post..Beach Girlfriend Getaway: San Juan Marriott Resort
Kara, thanks for asking. I suppose that would be a good thing to include in the post each week!
To submit to the carnival, you can follow this link: http://blogcarnival.com/bc/cprof_6939.html and use the orange submission button at the top of the page. If that doesn’t work, a note via my contact page would be ok as well.
I’m keeping the focus to family travel in the United States.
Linda
Amy, I’m glad to hear that you find the link posts useful, and that I’m not crazy in thinking of them as a bookmark list.
Linda
Thanks for including a link to my post about Great Lakes National Parks!
Looks like some good stuff here.
Dominique’s last blog post..Indiana in a jar, Sechler’s Pickles factory store
What a great list–thanks! I can’t wait to visit the MN Air National Guard Museum as well. A while ago, a friend mentioned an air museum that offers birthday parties, and I’m wondering if this is it??? I might check that out for future reference! Thanks also for mentioning my Museum Pass article–appreciate it! Jen
Jen’s last blog post..Mexican Side: Corn Casserole
Jen, there’s another air museum somewhere in the northwest metro as well. I don’t know what it’s called, and haven’t been there yet either.
Other fun places I can think of that offer birthday parties are the Jackson Street Roundhouse, Choo-Choo Bob’s Train Store, and the Firefighters Museum.
Thank you for such a lovely list!
I will be checking these travel posts out.
