Towel Art on the Carnival Liberty
One of the fun things about sailing with Carnival is that there is a towel creature in your room each night. Not everyone gets the same critters, making for many dinner-table conversations of “what did you get today?”
And so I present the towel art that we received throughout the week…
Is Carnival the only line that does this? And am I the only one silly enough to blog about it?

The Disney Cruise line also does this. Even better, Disney uses chocolate squares for eyes and other decorations, yum!
I love this. The monkey is my favorite. I wonder whose job it is to make these.

Oh this is too classic. First of all, the post is hilarious because you keep scrolling down to see all of these funny creatures. Second, Norwegian Cruise Lines does this also, and I remember last summer my daughters being absoltely over-the-moon at turn down service. Animals on the bed, and chocolate mints on your pillow – a child’s delight.
Super cool!! What did they use for eyes? Customer service is not dead (OK, that is how I interpret this stuff)
Carolina, I believe the cabin stewards make them. We would compare animals with our table mates at dinner each night.
We also bought a how-to book so I can keep the kids busy when they claim boredom.
Meg, our animals’ eyes were just torn pieces of paper. Someone else commented that Disney uses chocolate. Yum yum.
That’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! Giant origami projects. Now, how many people do they employ to make that cuteness happen? Hmmm…

What gave me a giggle about this was the idea of how to describe this on one’s resume or when they are advertising the job – “Must have good people skils, an eye for detail, and the ability to turn ordinary white towels into enough different animals that passengers on a ten-day cruise will never see the same one twice…”
Very cute.

These are so beyond cute! Almost makes me want to take a cruise, and I’m not much of a big-boat cruise person
