Sounds like you had a great time!!! She is right, next time stay at one of the bigger hotels. I dont think you mentioned where you stayed. Were going to the Wilderness next week. We love it there. There is 3 (yes three) indoor waterparks plus a indoor dry play area. They can climb around and play with foam balls. Plus now they have a 3d mini golf area, besides the lazer tag and rock climbing. Knuckleheads is really fun, but kinda expensive. We had a hard time there last year cause it was me, my husband, my brother-in-law, my son (8) and daughter(2). We figured we would spend the whole afternoon there and they have little cards that you put money on and then you just use them on all of the rides and games. After I spent all that money putting credit on the card, they sent us off to the arcade area. Only to find out that my daughter was too little to go on any rides….I asked if my son could go on the rides with her, and they told me that he was too big. GREAT so now we have all of this credit and nothing to do. Its a fun place though , hope you had fun…

Nice work keeping your kids entertained in the play structure and avoiding all of the other distractions at Knuckleheads! The next time you're visiting the Dells, you should consider staying at the Wilderness, Kalahari, or Great Wolf Lodge. All three have similar soft play structures that are free for hotel guests.
