Baskets are Big in Ohio

Last week you saw that Ohio has a BIG corn field.  Well, they also have some big baskets in the Buckeye State.

Everything IS bigger in Ohio! Are those houses with a view of giant apples? I would either laugh or cry every day when I stepped out of my house.

They are houses, but they’re part of the Longaberger Homestead site so I don’t think anyone lives in them.

Okay- at first I was scared that people had a giant basket within view of their house but thankfully you cleared that one up. I will admit that I have heard of the company but don’t know very much about them. Obviously, they are huge. Get it? Huge. I know. I am a big dork.

What a great idea, to have the design of a basket as a building. I simply love the idea!

when I was married, my aunt gave me a Longaberger basket. It is lovely and very well made. I usually bring it out when I take breakfast treats to a morning meeting!

My aunt used to sell Longaberger when I was in high school. She got to go to the factory and tour it. When she brought similar pictures home I just couldn’t believe my eyes! How cool!
