They're still arguing over the Absentee Votes, but a spokesperson for Sen. Reid's office is speculating that Franken will be certified as the winner. And it still sounds like the whole thing will end up in a protracted legal battle, no matter what the Board of Canvassers says. Between y'all and the Gov. in Illinois, it pretty much wiped Detroit's political scandal off of the radar...for the moment, at least. Thanks! :) Meanwhile, hope you and your family has a happy new year and a safe trip home!
