Notes from the Road, Day 7
Remember the stomach bug we were trying to outrun? Well, we were apparently unsuccessful. It hit four of us last night within an hour. So the new plan for today is to lie low in the hotel room. Fortunately we have plenty of space, including a kitchen so we can manage light meals without having to go out.
I never thought I’d be so thankful to have Walmart across the street. I ran over for provisions, and a few new books craft activities for the kids, plus speakers so we can watch movies on the laptop if necessary.
On the bright side, we had no firm plans for today, and not a lot is open anyway. Hopefully this will be short-lived and we’ll be back on track soon.
