I love going to see petroglyphs or pictographs. The only ones I know about near me are a few petroglyphs up near Sanilac, Michigan (in the “thumb”), although we did take a canoe trip in the Boundary Waters (MN) area to view some pictographs from the water.

Looks like a great trip for your family. You take your kids to so many cool places!
